SUN- AIR of Scandinavia A/S is headquartered in Billund. Over the years the company's business has come to encompass several areas; scheduled flights, workshops, spare parts sales and charter flights as well as international aircraft sales and leasing.
Based on the motto "Smaller, Smarter & Smiling" SUN–AIR’s employees work with efficiency and considerable flexibility to ensure our passengers and customers receive the highest possible service and safety standards.
Today the company is managed by CEO Niels Sundberg. Founder and owner Niels Sundberg will be staying on as main shareholder in SUN-AIR.
As a British Airways franchise partner, we offer the same full in-flight service: Complimentary food, snacks and drinks as well as exceptional sky-high service.
The route network is primarily tailored to business travellers, with direct routes to major cities at home and abroad. Our base is Jutland and from Billund we operate regional routes to large cities abroad.
The Charter division operating under the brand "JoinJet" arranges individual flights, for example for VIPs, companies, sports teams and ambulance flights in Denmark and abroad as well as international aircraft sales and leasing.
With over 40 years of experience, we understand the needs of our customers. Our products are tailored to meet those needs, with a consistent focus on quality and precision.
Our workshops and warehouse are based in Billund and Thisted. Here aircraft service and maintenance, component overhaul and the “One-stop” concept are put into practice. The One-stop concept provides aircraft owners and operators with significant benefits when it comes to maintenance, down-time and logistics, since all key functions are gathered and solved in one operation, with minimum inconvenience for the customer.
Over the years, SUN-AIR has acquired a number workshops, each with its own specialty aircraft, engines and components. These units were operated separately by Samro and ScanTech until 2016, but are now combined within extensive spare parts sales in the newly established SUN-AIR Technic.
